It sounds like Rhys had a wonderful loving entrance to this world. I am so glad things went well and that you had such wise midwives! I should be busy doing other things but I got so captivated by your journey that I followed links form your mothers blog, to the posting about her memorial stone, to here. I am glad I do. I hope you and your little family are settling in and doing well. As someone who has moved back and forth across the country numerous times and given birth to 4 children, with 2 born at home, I cannot imagine trying to do that before you've even unpacked the boxes! But, babies will come when they want and they don't care a hoot about our schedules!

Oh, and welcome to the "charm" of old New England homes. I grew up in one with a family of 6 and only one bathroom. We also had a clawfoot tub which I used to drain the water out of after my bath till there was only a thing skim, then soap the whole thing up and slide down the sloping back! Great memories!Kathie Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10377224759599266209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8126032.post-29797079583544366242011-09-06T19:00:54.827-07:002011-09-06T19:00:54.827-07:00Loved reading this, Kitty.
